Description: Forty-seven flowers on six upright raceme inflorescences on two blooming canes; sepals and petals white; lip white, proximally overlaid chartreuse, throat veined purple, side lobes light green proximally, midlobe distal margins dentate; column and anther cap suffused chartreuse; substance firm; texture crystalline.

Description: Seven flowers on two 37.5-cm inflorescences; sepals cream, veined yellow-green; petals cream, veined green and proximally hirsute mahogany; pouch cream, overlaid yellow-green, distal rim bright apple, inner rim heavily spotted mahogany, finely hirsute; staminode yellow-green, apices intense mahogany; substance medium; texture satiny.

Description: Seven asymmetrical flowers, on two upright, up to 32.3-cm inflorescences, borne on a small four growth plant, one bearing leaves grown in a 17.0-cm Tree Fern pot; three deciduous and one bearing five up to 23.6.5-cm long by 3.5-cm oblanceolate, acute, thickly veined leaves, 3.0-cm by 3.0-cm petioles on lower leaves forming sheaths wrapping up to 11.0-cm long by up to 3.0-cm wide spindle shaped pseudobulbs bearing two, erect, up to 32.3-cm racemes, originating basally; sepals and petals yellow-cream, veined brown-maroon, finely spotted maroon, denser distally, margin yellow, dorsal sepal oblong-elliptic, cuspidate, lateral sepals oblong-lanceolate, unequally acute, petals ovate, subacute; lip obdeltoid, margins reflexed ninety degrees, slightly darker yellow, cream becoming purple-tan centrally, rose distally; column twisted, cream becoming rose-purple distally, anther cap yellow overlaid red becoming black-red apically; substance very heavy; texture satiny, column glossy; floral bracts 2.1 cm long by 1.4 cm wide, light green; country of origin is Bolivia; SITF has confirmed as Mormodes andicola (June 2020); based on the elongate terminal apicule of the lip as detailed in the illustration and the description in the Icones Orchidacearum Peruvianum; the illustration is available in the SOF; size of the flower is a good fit and the photo in IOSPE matches in form and basic color; the line drawing is also available in the IOSPE; pleasing color variation, young plant.
